History

It is with deep regret that we understand CLIC Sargent have had to cancel this years 70 Wild Miles event in Glencoe for the 9th June. CLIC Sargent have been the organising charity behind this event since 2005. As the founders of 70 Wild Miles, we are obviously very sad to see the event in Glencoe cancelled at this late stage; however, we do wish CLIC Sergeant every success in continuing with the 70 Wild Miles event they organise in Northern Ireland.

For the first time in the events 24 year history, there will be no annual 70 Wild Miles in Glencoe. We are looking to engage with another charity to organise and support an event in Glencoe in 2013 and are ever hopeful that this can be achieved and the tradition of this unique Highland triathlon can continue to support those less fortunate than ourselves. We have also partnered with Dick Blick and you can learn more about them here.
