  The Head Time-keeper. - Face obscured to protect those of a nervous disposition.    The 1990 event was held on behalf of the Cancer Research Campaign and raised the total of £5,000
     This year saw the first appearance of an official time-keeper(?) After his performance as a canoe-shifter the previous year, it was thought that Bob Simpson could do less damage with a stop-watch, (wishful thinking if I ever heard of it).
     This year's winners were Graham Liston and Karen Hogg.
